Very grateful for Dave Bondi in helping to bring this project to life. Dave just sent this wonderful work in progress image of my collaboration with Ema Frost. She looks adorable! Very happy with how this project is coming along. Thank you very much Dave!
Mighty Mo the Frog Prince
After many revisions to the original concept, we have since renamed him Mighty Mo the Frog Prince. He stands 5 inches tall and hopefully will go into production later this year with the hope of release early next year. This will be another Okedoki Studio production. Hope you like Mighty Mo the Frog Prince thus far.
More updates to come as we move into the moulding and casting stages. :)
Balloon Head Released
Thank you all for supporting the release of Balloon Heads. All 16 were quickly sold out as I posted them on Instagram. I am truly grateful for all the wonderful collectors who enjoy my art and will be adding this very personal piece to their collection. The remaining 2 sets were sent to a show in the UK.
Balloon Head is a fully produced art multiple by the Okedoki production team. There is an Edition of 18. It comes with a certificate of authenticity and are each signed and numbered. Each set takes many hours from start to finish and is carefully handmade. I hope all who will receive a set will feel the labours of love and attention poured into each set. This is the Hope Edition as I feel we all need more hope in our lives right now. Hope to stay positive and hope to stay patient.
There will be more production pieces to come and we are all very excited to bring these projects into reality. Thank you again for all your support.
Iki the Slayer
Meet Iki the Slayer, the runaway frog prince. Tired of the rigid royal life, Iki left home seeking freedom and adventure. He is always up to mischief and fun, and later teams up with Benny the Dreamer for their quest for treasure (and trouble! :)
Holi's Treasure Bubble
After more than a year I can finally show my collaboration piece with New Zealand artist Ema Frost. I am very happy with the result of this piece, and learnt many things along the way. I wanted to show the serenity and simplicity of Ema's work and her connection with spirit animals. Ema has been incredibly patient during this entire process of creation, which required multiple redesigns and re-sculptings until we were both satisfied with the final product. I hope you like what you see so far. Photos below is the prototype.
A little intro about Holi's Treasure Bubble:
In this charming scene, Holi the water siren is accompanied by her spirit guide Koki the King Fisher. Together they await your discovery of the secret treasures.
With the help of Dave Bondi who will be assisting with production, Holi's Treasure Bubble will be brought to life. This is a very exciting project for myself and Ema, and we are very thankful for Dave's help. More details to come.... :)
